DISPATCH OPERATIONS

In 2007 the Town of Greenfield consolidated Police and Fire Dispatch forming the Greenfield Dispatch Center.

Located at 321 High Street in Greenfield the center is a 24 hour a day,   E-911 Emergency Operations Center. Dispatchers coordinate emergency response units via radio and mobile data terminals.

Dispatchers are the key to public safety response for the Town of Greenfield and all dispatchers receive intensive training and supervision.

The dispatch center is an efficient effective use of resources employing trained civilian dispatchers to enable more police and firefighters to respond to community emergencies.
